Child Protection & Development

Professional Alliance for Development (PADet) envisions a transformed society where children, youth, and women are living dignified and secured lives. Our Child Development and Safeguarding strategic focus ensures comprehensive care, support, and institutional protection for vulnerable children across Ethiopia.

Holistic safeguarding and reintegration

Through dedicated initiatives such as the Migration Awareness and Action project, the Prevention of Risky Movement of Children in the Northern Ethiopia Corridor, and targeted child domestic servitude interventions, PADet works directly with communities, employers, recruiters, and local government structures.

We provide vital support services including temporary retention care, psychosocial counseling, scholastic materials, nutritional assistance, vocational skills training, and legal aid services to protect children from exploitation, child labor, and unsafe migration.
